Why We Use Shaklee Fragrance-Free, Dye Free Natural Enzyme Laundry Detergent Concentrate

First, the disclaimer.

My wife is a Shaklee distributor, and, for years we have used many of the Shaklee nutritional products, but, for some reason, we never really used Shaklee home care products.

My wife is badly allergic to the dyes, perfumes, and other additives used in most laundry products. Therefore, for years, we have purchased products, such as Tide and Gain, which were dye and perfume-free.

Now, they worked okay, and, I am not here to complain about these products which you can purchase in any store.

However, about a year ago, we decided to try the Shaklee Fragrance Free, Dye Free Natural Enzyme Laundry Detergent Concentrate.

One of the first things we realized was, that, although the box we bought cost more than Tide, Gain, and other brands, I needed to use only a fraction for each wash. we saved a little money by using the Shaklee product.

The next thing we noticed was that we no longer needed to use Bounce™ or other dryer sheets.

Oh, there was a little static cling on a couple of pairs of her pants, but, for the most part, we didn't need to mess with dryer sheets anymore.

The Shaklee Fragrance-Free, Dye Free Natural Enzyme Laundry Detergent Concentrate worked very well in cold water, by the way, which was a savings in utility costs.

There was NO residual laundry powder remaining in the washer, and, probably most importantly, we found that using the product regularly did not create any problems for my wife, the allergic one. Me, I just like the idea of not polluting the environment as happens with many other laundry detergents.

We were also already aware that Shaklee is an environmentally conscious company that has many active programs to aid the environment. They also avoid any animal testing of their products, although they do test them thoroughly for effectiveness, and environmental impact.

As I said, we have used Shaklee products for years, and now we have added Shaklee Fragrance Free, Dye Free Natural Enzyme Laundry Detergent Concentrate, to the list of Shaklee products we use and recommend.
