A DRESS ONLY I CAN SEE

my mind's hands fashion
a beautiful dress for you
only i can see

you my model stand
erect and proudly naked...
i measure and cut

setting loving words
against your most precious skin
smoothing them in place

Art: Madame X by John Singer Sargent

ANGELS AND DEVILS

Humankind both
Angels and devils,
Depending upon
Conditions of the heart,
Desires for pleasure,
Wishes to
Give
Bring
Share
Excitement and joy,
Lusts of those
Wishing to approach
A universal love.

DISCOVERING HERSELF

reading every word
learning and loving his mind
discovering herself

the secrets she's held
many even from herself
she now dares to face

finding new freedom
in the pictures his words paint
feelings they evoke

FIND ME A PLACE

Find me a place in the forest
Surround me with the loud
Silence of nature which
Becomes more than sound,
A passionate breath of the earth
Caressing branches and
Flowers on the wind,
A symphony of desire
Beyond those of flesh and blood,
The needs of the soul.

SOMETHING ABOUT CAMPFIRES

Something about campfires
And the edge of the sea at night,
Away from so-called civilization
There's a primal return to
Feelings of an earlier time,
When such things as the
Flickering light holding back
The night, and the sea softly,
Whispering secrets to the shore,
While the moon and stars
Watched as they have
For millennia, was to our
Ancestors, a natural thing,
Remaining a part of our
Unforgotten memories.
