  Of course, anything can be abused, even the safest, most natural products, but, assuming the directions are followed, Garcinia Cambogia is one of the safest diet products around.
Speaking of "around", this weight loss product, new to most people, has actually been "around" for a long time. This has given many scientists and researchers ample opportunity to investigate the safety of using this natural product for weight loss.
The weight loss product, Garcinia Cambogia Select IS a "natural" product because it is extracted from the rind of the Garcinia Cambogia fruit, which is a small pumpkin shaped fruit sometimes called a tamarind. This extract is sometimes called a "dual action" weight loss product because it simultaneously suppresses your appetite while preventing fat from being formed.
There are a lot of diet pills which make all kinds of claims about how they can help you lose weight, but Garcinia Cambogia has the scientific research to back it up. In a 12-week clinical study published in the "Journal of International Medical Research", 300 mg of Garcinia extract a day, in combination with other herbs, was given to overweight volunteers.
The test group which received the Garcinia experienced a significant difference in weight loss over the control group -- 3.5 kg versus 1.2 kg - with 85 percent of the reduction due to the action of the Garcinia Cambogia extract.
In other words, not only is Garcina Cambogia a safe weight loss product, but an effective one as well.
